How we keep this place safe
How the Rinnit community stays safe: pseudonymous handles, private health data, member reports, moderator review and a three-strike policy.
The rules
- 01Be kind, alwaysEveryone here is living with something hard. No insults, harassment, hate or pile-ons.
- 02Share experience, not prescriptionsTalk about what worked for you. Never tell someone to start, stop or change a treatment — that's for their care team.
- 03Protect privacy — yours and others'Post under your handle. Don't share real names, contact details, photos of documents, or anyone else's health information.
- 04Your health data is never shared for youNothing from your logs, vitals or medications appears in the community. It only leaves the app when you export it yourself.
- 05No spam or sellingNo ads, affiliate links, fundraising or promotion of products, clinics or cures.
- 06In an emergency, get real helpThe community can't respond to emergencies. Call your local emergency number or your care team.
How moderation works
Report
Anyone can tap Report on a post or reply. The post stays up until a moderator looks at it.
Review
A moderator reads the report alongside the post and either dismisses it or removes the post.
Strike
Every removed post adds one strike to its author. Strikes are private — only you and moderators see them.
Pause
At 3 strikes posting, reacting and reviewing are suspended for 30 days. You can still read.
